Micro-Conferences

City Leadership is excited to announce the 2011-2012 Micro-Conference Series. Micro-Conferences are topic specific, small-scale experiences for church leaders.

We believe everything rises and falls on leadership, and leadership rises with mentorship, collaboration, and peer discussion. Our hope is to create small-scale environments where peers can learn from mentors and each other about specific topics. The hope is for participants to return better equipped to lead, execute, and serve their church.

Each event is planned to be held in Downtown Memphis over two days. Attendance will vary from 12 to 18 participants. Each Micro-Conference will be hosted by John CarrollJohn Bryson. We also have invited 2 to 3 Featured Guests to add their specific take and to work with each participant on specific issues they are currently leading their church through on the topic.

Each Micro-Conference in the series is a stand alone. Participation in one does not mean you have to attend them all. In fact, our hope is that your church would send the appropriate leadership to each one.

Because space is limited, we are requesting for all interested participants to complete a brief application for the Micro-Conference Series. We believe those at the table will be adding an equally important piece to the conversations as the featured guests we have invited. Our hope is to keep the participants and organizations represented diverse.

Note: The price is the same for each micro-conference. There is a $40 fee added to all applications received less than 14 days prior to the Micro-Conference. All attendees are required to stay at the hotel of the Micro-Conference. Our hotel of choice is the Madison.
